Centuries ago, the most important and powerful Mixtec king, Ocho Venado Garra de Jaguar, found in our location the perfect place for rest and privacy.
At the foot of the golden Oaxacan coast, in one of the arms of Laguna de Manialtepec, the Mixtec monarch discovered the point where the main elements of the Mixtec worldview, yoo, the moon; ndikaandii, the sun; nduta ñuu, the sea, and diavui, the rain, came together to be reborn in the most valuable concept in the universe: kunda'vi, love.
